Florida health officials say a woman in her mid 30s who recently gave birth has died from the flu. The woman is the second flu fatality in Brevard County this season.
Another woman in her 30s died earlier this month. The director of that county's health department says two other people remain on life support due to influenza. In addition, health officials in north Florida reported that 12 people had died from the flu at a Gainesville hospital since October, including five people under the age of 40.
Officials say it's not too late in the season to get the flu vaccine.

Health Department spokesman Tim O'connor says Palm Beach County is having a mild flu season with none of the serious issues happening to our north.
